The friend that gave me the idea for the band, watched my music video and suggested with the lyric's being about shoes, why not include shoes. The lyric's start with "Bye bye, my white shoes." later on in the lyric's, it says, "Bye, bye my black shoes." So I got a pair of girls, white plimsolls and some dark boy's Fred Perry shoes, and took lots of photos to make it look like I've used stop motion. I tried this for an experiment and if I didn't think it worked I was going to leave it out. I felt like it did work and as I showed people the finish idea, they really liked it, and thought it went perfectly with the lyrics. Shooting the shoes also allowed me to represent the relationship between the narrative of boy and the girl, together then not together. I first did displayed the shoes in colour but after a bit of feedback, it was evident that people thought it would look better in black and white.
