PreProduction Details.

In order to get organised for my music video shoot one, I sent an email out to the four band members asking letting them know the time and place, what to wear and also what props they will need to bring if necessary. One of the boys told me the night before that he couldn't make it and after re-arranging the shooting date twice already, I had to go without having four band members to having three.

A couple of days before filming I made a folder and printed out four sheets with the lyrics on in size 12 font. I did this so all of my band members and me can have a copy of it, and when they were sat on the rocks, they had the sheets hidden in the rocks, just incase they forgot the lyric's. This was a useful way and also a way to take less time filming. And another copy of the lyric's but in a big font. I printed the big font out just incase they didn't have there sheets on them and I would then need to hold the lyrics up. I found that I didn't use this big font as after my band members had listened to the music they seemed to remember the lyric's quite well.

In order for my band to recognise the tempo of the music in order for them to sing in time, I recorded the song from my computer to my phone, I didn't download the song as it wasn't free. This took a couple of attempts as there was a fussy sound from the background when I recorded it. I felt that this wasn't a good idea, and I should of just downloaded the song, as when I played it to the band it was too quite. So Matt, had to go on YouTube on his phone and play the song that way. The problem with this was it was taking along time loading the music video and if I wanted to stop the song and play it again, we would have to wait for it to load then play it from the start, this was extremely time consuming, and It would of been better if I would of brought some portable speakers, so the band members could hear the song, and if I downloaded it, then that would of been alot quicker.

The previous night before filming I went to check my camera, and it wasn't working. And then realised the battery had broken from the previous time I used it. But luckily we have another camera, It is lighter and also alot better quality so I had to charge my camera up the night before, and in the morning I turned it on and checked that it was working.
